Փետրվարի 26-ին Ժնևում, ՄԱԿ-ի մարդու իրավունքների խորհրդի նիստի շրջանակներում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել ՄԱԿ-ի մարդու իրավունքների բարձր հանձնակատար Վոլկեր Տյուրկի հետ:

Ինչպես հայտնում են ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ից, զրուցակիցները քննարկել են ՄԱԿ-ի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության համակարգի շրջանակներում համագործակցությանն առնչվող մի շարք հարցեր:

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Հայաստանում մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և օրենքի գերակայության ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող քայլերին և ձեռքբերումներին, որոնց շնորհիվ Հայաստանը միջազգային տարբեր հեղինակավոր կառույցների վարկանիշներով տարածաշրջանում զբաղեցնում է առաջատար դիրքեր:

Անդրադառնալով աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններում մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության հարցում առկա մարտահրավերներին՝ ընդգծվել է առկա գործիքակազմի արդյունավետ օգտագործման կարևորությունը, քանզի հակառակը հանգեցնում է լրջագույն խախտումների կանխարգելման հարցում ձախողման ու աղետալի իրավիճակների կրկնության։

Անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացված էթնիկ զտմանը՝ նախարար Միրզոյանը ներկայացրել է իրենց հայրենիքից բռնի տեղահանված հայ բնակչության կարիքների և իրավունքների հասցեագրման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող քայլերը։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում Արարատ Միրզոյանը և Վոլկեր Տյուրկը մտքեր են փոխանակել նաև Հարավային Կովկասում վերջին զարգացումների շուրջ։ Նախարար Միրզոյանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման գործընթացում առանցքային հարցերի շուրջ ՀՀ մոտեցումները՝ հիմնված տարածքային ամբողջականության, սահմանների անքակտելիության, ինքնիշխանության առանցքային սկզբունքների աներկբա հարգման վրա։ Նախարար Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է, որ այս սկզբունքներին հստակ հավատարմության, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանում ագրեսիվ հռետորաբանությունից և գետնի վրա իրավիճակի սրանն ուղղված քայլերից զերծ մնալու պարագայում հնարավոր կլինի առաջ շարժվել խաղաղության գործընթացում։
