Բագրատ Սրբազանը Սուրբ Աննա եկեղեցու բակում պայքարին միացած քաղաքացիների հետ հանդիպմանը Կիրանց երեկվա իր այցին անդրադարձավ․

«Երեկ, երբ մենք Կիրանցում էինք գտնվում, գյուղը ուրվական էր։ Ես 10 տարի այդ գյուղով անցել եմ, առաջին անգամ տեսա՝ գյուղը՝ ուրվական։ Դատարկ, լրիվ դատարկ։ Մարդ չկար։ Եթե որևէ մեկը այնտեղ լիներ, կմտածեր, որ կամ լքել են այս գյուղը կամ մարդիկ հեռացել են կյանքից, ինչպես որ իրենք էլ վկայեցին՝ ասլեով՝ մեր գյուղում սուգ է՝ առանց մեռելի։

Կամաց-կամաց դուրս եկան տներից մեր ժողովուրդը, հավաքվել էինք մեր հերոսների հիշատակին նվիրված հուշարձանի մոտ։ Այնտեղ էր մեր զրույցը տեղի ունենում։ Մարդիկ՝ տառապանքի մեջ՝ բառիս ամենախորն իմաստով։ Հուսահատության մեջ, ոգուց զրկված, ուղղությունից կտրված, արցունքներով, շփոթված, մոլորված վիճակում են։

Կիրանցից կանանցից մեկը, տան կողքն են գիշերը խփել այդ սյուներ կոչվածը, ասում էր՝ ինձ իմ տնից զրկում են։ Երեկ էլ մեր «պայծառ» Արդարադատության նախարարությունը հայտարարեց, թե կադաստրի թղթերը «թյուրիմացաբար» են տվել։ Պատկերացնու՞մ եք՝ ահավաասիկ վկայությունը մեր ապրած կյանքի։

Եվ այդ ամբողջ դժբախտ պատկերի մեջ Կիրանցում մարդիկ մի բան են ասել, որ փոխանցեմ ձեզ․ ասել են՝ ժողովրդին ասեք, որ ձեր մեջքին կանգնած ենք։

Ա՛յ էս ժողովուրդն է Կիրանցի ժողովուրդը։ Չեն ասում՝ մեզ օգնեք, մեր մեջքին կանգնեք, ասում են՝ մենք ձեր մեջքին կանգնած ենք։

Այսպիսի ժողովուրդ է ապրում այդ գյուղում, որին իրավազրկել են և նրանց իրավազրկելով՝ բոլորիս են իրավազրկել։ Բոլորիս․․․»։
