Armenia to release its statistics on volume of trade turnover with EAEU member states soon

The statistics on the volume of trade turnover between Armenia and Eurasian Economic Union member states is ready: the
Government will soon release it.

Deputy Minister of the International Economic Integration and Reforms Suren Karayan told the aforementioned to “Armenpress”.

“We currently perform analysis to find out what influence our membership to the Eurasian Economic Union had on the economy. We will release the results of the analysis in the near future,” noted Karayan.

In regard to the steps aimed at creating a free trade zone between Iran and EAEU, Karayan informed that a working group had already been formed which included representatives from all EAEU member states.

Deputy Minister also said that the negotiations on the free trade zone would resume under the Eurasian Economic Commission but could not answer how long the negotiations would last.
