The leader of the Armenian national chess team Levon Aronian is participating in Norway Chess Super Tournament held on June 1526, 2015 in Stavanger. Aronian lost in the first round to Maxime VachierLagrave. The Armenian chess player could not manage to beat the opponent. In other matches the world champion Magnus Carlsen lost to Veselin Topalov and Anish Giri won Alexander Grischuk. The US representative Hikaru Nakamura won Jon Ludvig Hammer. The only game, which ended in a draw, was Fabiano Caruana - Viswanathan Anand couple.
