Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության նախագահ Էբրահին Ռաիսին ողջունել է Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության բանակցությունները՝ հայտնելով Իրանի պատրաստակամությունը՝ ապահովելու կովկասյան տարածաշրջանի ռազմավարական անվտանգությունը՝ հաշվի առնելով այդ առումով Իսլամական Իսլամական Հանրապետության կարմիր գծերը:

«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ինչպես հայտնում է IRNA-ն՝ Ռաիսին այս մասին ասել է Հայաստանի փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանի հետ հանդիպմանը:

Անդրադառնալով Հարավային Կովկասի իրավիճակին՝ Ռաիսին ասել է, որ Իրանը կարևորում է տարածաշրջանում կայունության և անվտանգության պահպանումը։

Ռաիսին նշել է, որ Իրանը դեմ է տարածաշրջանում դրսի ներկայությանը՝ հավելելով, որ արտաքին ուժերի ներգրավվածությունը տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներին ոչ միայն լուծումներ չի տալիս, այլ նաև ավելի լուրջ մարտահրավերներ է բերում։

Իրանի նախագահը Թեհրանի և Երևանի հարաբերությունները բնութագրել է որպես պատմական, բարեկամական և կառուցողական։

Նա իր աջակցությունն է հայտնել Թեհրանի և Երևանի միջև բոլոր պայմանավորվածությունների լիարժեք իրականացմանը՝ ասելով, որ կոնկրետ պայմանավորվածությունների իրագործումը ջանքեր է պահանջում, և երկու երկրների տնտեսական հարցերով համատեղ հանձնաժողովը պետք է դրանց հետամուտ լինի:
