Armen Grigoryan and Charles Fries discussed issue of providing assistance to Armenia through European Peace Instrument

On a working visit to Brussels, the Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with Charles Fries, the Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service for Peace, Security and Defense.

 

The interlocutors discussed the agenda and existing opportunities of bilateral Armenia-EU relations in the field of security.

 

The parties referred to the activities of the EU civilian observation mission, emphasizing its importance from the point of view of ensuring regional security.

 

They also discussed the issue of providing assistance to Armenia through the European Peace Instrument, emphasizing it from the point of view of increasing Armenia’s resilience.
