Netflix's Emily in Paris star Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu has revealed why she wouldn't wear her character's clothes in “real life.”

The 61-year-old French actress plays PR manager Sylvie Grateau on the hit Netflix series. "When I wear her clothes, I wear things that I would never wear in real life," the actress told People magazine. "It's because the skirts are a little tight, the heels are a little high, and she struggles with those things, which I think is a struggle that Sylvie has in her life or in her clothes. So they convey that."Leroy-Beaulieu says she doesn't take "anything from the show" after filming ends. "I would never wear that in real life. Not only because I don’t dress like that, but because it’s a character and you want to keep it a character.”
