Gentlemen statesmen, the time has come to sober up, unite, and act for the sake of the state. Artak Tovmasyan
PoliticalIt is already the 30th day that the large-scale terrorist war, unleashed by Turkey and Azerbaijan against Artsakh, continues, a war in which Turkish special forces and Syrian mercenaries take part. The fierce battles continue on the Artsakh-Azerbaijani border, at the cost of the selfless struggle and blood of our brave soldiers we still manage to stop the enemy's attacks that are getting intensified day by day. However, we should not forget that in this war Turkey is openly threatening Armenia, and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan openly declared in his message the huge number of casualties and territorial losses.
At this crucial moment, national unity is of foremost importance, and for the sake of our state’s integrity, we must put aside the political struggle and involve experienced, knowledgeable politicians and statesmen who have gone through war and negotiations, who have the necessary negotiating knowledge and experience. In order to stop this war, which gets intensified day by day and takes the lives of our young generation, I call to form a broad political consolidation, in parallel with the work done in the rear of the border.
The war must be stopped, and the Azerbaijani authorities must be forced to return to a constructive path, thus saving thousands of our children who are in danger of falling victim to the horrors of war, and our statehood, which faces serious danger these days.
Gentlemen statesmen, the time has come to sober up. It is necessary to use all resources and connections. The irreversible loss is already unstoppable. Unite and act for the sake of the state, instead of the narrow personal, political interests and ambitions. Put mundane issues aside and put a start to a unity, whose only purpose is not to lose our statehood.
