“Hraparak”: New Sanitarium to be Built in Jermuk

Next to Armenia sanitarium, which belongs to Ashot Arsenyan, a new sanitarium is going to be built in Jermuk, which turns out, that is not the building of Armenia resort.

It has been created by the principle of sharing, where the big share – 50% belongs to former Governor of Vayots Dzor region Samvel Sargsyan, about 15% - to Asot Arsenyan, which was included not to complain, that his business is being grasped, and other 30-35%, according to the news belongs to the family of Serzh Sargsyan. The building is being built by architectural studio of Narek Sargsyan. Construction began in 2009 and was to be finished in 2011, but now facing works are underway and will hardly finish till the end of the year.
The sanitarium is going to be more tastily and luxurious than the Armenia resort. However, residents of Jermuk register that the hope for it to become the main resort center weren’t justified. They even complain that Serzh Sargsyan didn’t take care of them appropriately, as Robert Kocharyan did in Tsaghkadzor. Right, they say half of Tsaghkadzor belongs former RA president, but they agreed even to that, if only the health center worked and brought income to the locals.
