According to Equal Leaks, the main feature of the Realme 12 Pro+ will be a periscope camera with 3x optical zoom. The smartphone will also be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen from BOE with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a cutout for the 32 MP front camera.

The performance of the Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by the sub-flagship Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor from Qualcomm, clocked at a maximum frequency of 2.63 GHz. This processor is expected to be 15% more powerful than the previous version - Snapdragon 7 Gen1. A 5000 mAh battery will provide long battery life.

The main camera of the smartphone will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, as well as a telephoto camera with a periscope lens system - OmniVision ov64B with 64 MP and 3x optical zoom. The resolution of the ultra-wide-angle camera is not yet known, but it is expected to be 8 MP.

The Realme 12 Pro+ comes with Android 14 out-of-the-box and is expected to receive updates from the manufacturer for three years.

According to Equal Leaks, the Realme 12 Pro+ is expected to hit the market in February 2024 and will be priced starting at RMB 1,900, which is approximately $265 at the current exchange rate as of December 26, 2023.
