Mercedes-Benz reveals details about CLE Cabriolet

World

Mercedes-Benz spoke about the updates of its new CLE cabriolet. These cars will hit German dealers in April.

They have an AIRCAP wind deflector, an AIRSCARF neck heating system, a "cooling" seat cover, as well as a lowered chassis and the latest, third-generation MBUX multimedia.

The engine line-up includes gasoline and diesel four and 3.0 six-cylinder units of various capacities.

There is no AMG version like the coupe yet.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet can now be ordered in Germany. The prices start from 66,402 euros.

As standard, the Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet is equipped with a comfortable suspension lowered by 10 millimeters. But if desired, you can install amplitude-dependent shock absorbers or an adaptive Dynamic Body Control chassis.

In cool weather, traveling with the top down should be lightened by the AIRCAP wind deflector—consisting of two elements: on the windshield, and a screen behind the riders—and AISCARF neck heating, reports Motor.ru. Both systems have evolved and now work better.

A piece of fabric protects the interior from precipitation, reduces wind noise, and serves as a base thermal insulation layer.

The roof of the CLE Cabriolet folds and unfolds in 20 seconds at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour. Moreover, thanks to the electric motor, this happens as quietly as possible.

The optional leather seats have a special coating that prevents them from getting hot in sunny weather. Compared to conventional upholstery, the difference is about 12 degrees, so, it won't be too hot inside even with the roof up.

Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet owners will have access to a full range of entertainment systems: third-generation MBUX multimedia with TikTok, Zoom, and podcasts to Burmester acoustics that support Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio surround sound technology.

What is more, thanks to artificial intelligence, some "convenience functions" can be easily automated. For example, the "Cold Days" template, available at launch, activates the heating of the seats at a certain outside temperature. And "Date Night" changes the background lighting color to pink and plays romantic music.
