До начала XXXIII летних Олимпийских игр в Париже осталось 60 дней. 

В составе сборной Армении пока 11 участников:  стрелок Эльмира Карапетян, борцы Артур Алексанян, Малхас Амоян, Славик Галстян, Вазген Теванян, Арсен Арутюнян, гимнаст Артур Давтян, тяжелоатлеты Андраник Карапетян, Гарик Карапетян и Вараздат Лалаян. 

XXXIII летние Олимпийские игры в Париже пройдут с 26 июля по 11 августа 2024 года. Церемония открытия Игр будет уникальной, поскольку впервые она пройдет не на стадионе, а в самом сердце Франции, на берегу Сены. Париж - второй город после Лондона, принимающий Олимпийские игры уже в третий раз (1900, 1924, 2024 годы). Церемония открытия XXXIII летних Олимпийских игр назначена на символичный день, поскольку в этот день прошла церемония закрытия Игр 1924 года. 

Команды-участницы примут участие в церемонии открытия на лодках. На Олимпийских играх в Париже будет разыграно 329 медалей по 32 видам спорта, число участников превысит 10 000. На этих играх как новый вид спорта принят брейк-данс. Ряд спортивных мероприятий Олимпиады пройдут на Таити, в Нанте, Лионе, Марселе, Сент-Этьене и в других местах. На Играх будут работать около 45 000 волонтеров из разных стран мира. 

Оргкомитет парижских игр уже представил талисман Олимпийских игр. Он выглядит как фригийский красный колпак. Колпак считается символом Французской революции и свободы.
