First F-16 jets arrive in Ukraine

Western media reports that Ukraine's armed forces have already received the first batch of F-16 fighter jets, six aircraft. They were provided by the Netherlands. Denmark will send another batch of planes soon.

In the long term, about 80 fighter jets will be provided to the armed forces of Ukraine, but most of them will be used as spare parts, according to the media.

 

Kyiv has not yet officially confirmed the information. The reaction of the Kremlin was not late. According to Dmitry Peskov, the fighters will not have a serious impact on the battlefield. "Supplies of F-16 fighter jets to Kiev cannot significantly affect the dynamics of events on the front," said the press secretary of the Russian President.
