In anticipation of drought
Analytical
Political disaster of the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013 had, it seems, the value of a cataclysm in the life of Armenia and Yerevan in particular. They changed, or rather, confirmed the regime of power, which was sentenced by society.
Under the guise of external peace, an atmosphere of distrust is in the country today: distrust of government, distrust of the opposition, distrust of his neighbor, and finally, distrust of self, which makes the Armenian society and the country vulnerable, weak and unstable.
Until a few months ago in Freedom Square in Yerevan meaningful speeches, chants and slogans were poured, though dogmatic, but effective, at least for the initial phase. People stood up, the citizens rose up to their feet, and Freedom Square became public and open to civil society where there were only the vital spirit of freedom and independence, which promised victory and being.
And what do they get in return? Nothing! Only the next dose, from other word, from other hand- and as aresult-the most sacred- faith disappeared, belief in self, faith in each other, faith in victory, leaving only disappointment.
It turns out that Yerevan public performances and events are veiled with processes carried out behind the scenes and in general this logic, and which are indicators crucial for those performances and events that show promise and inspire confidence in the victory.
These phenomena are human and everyday, these phenomena build or break down, these events give shape, form and culture of the state, the country and the city, and that causes principles and values of the state.
And what awaits us, our society, our citizens, after all this? When there are no more promises and victories ... The fact that there is a society that has the power, and there is a regime that promises drought and political promises to rule changes, which entails the indifference of the people to their own country and their own city.
This mode dispenses destiny, decides the fate of each of us, leaving the choice to our conscience and our thoughts.
Today the society chooses between life and co-existence, between life and self, between homeland and secured future. The country has a drought, and the choice...
