Wreckage found of crashed Turkish fighter jet

The pilot of the fighter plane that crashed on Monday near the Turkish-Syrian border was killed, RIA reports.
The wreckage debris has been found, says the official website of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Communication with the F-16 fighter jet was lost during a regular flight in the province of Osmaniye in southern Turkey, after the pilot had sent the message "catapulting."
Search and rescue operations were carried out for several hours. The causes of the accident are being established.
According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred due to a technical malfunction.
