Tornado hits Hungary
World
The territory of Hungary has been struck by a powerful tornado. The north-eastern regions of the country bordering on Romania have been the hardest hit by the disaster.
The elements damaged dozens of homes, uprooted trees, tore power lines. Two people were injured.
According to rescuers, the tornado affected sparsely-populated areas of the country, otherwise there may have been many more victims.
The tornado was accompanied by a rare natural phenomenon: fist-size hail.
