500,000 Culés hail the new league champions (video)

There were a few concerns in the Barcelona camp about how the fans would respond to changes to the team's victory parade. But those fears evaporated as more than half a million Culés congregated on the streets of the Condal City to salute the new league champions on their cavalcade. The turn-out was considerably less than when Barça paraded the league, Champions League and Supercup in 2011 when close to a million fans converged on the city.
This year, the route was shorter than in previous seasons, starting at the World Trade Center and ending at Plaça del Doctor Ignasi Barraquer but celebrations inside the open-topped bus carrying the champions as vibrant as ever.
The Azulgrana cavalcade consisted of three open-topped buses, the first with the first team squad on board, the second, a group providing musical entertainment and the third, Barça Women's team, who were crowned league champions at San Mamés last week.
The procession lasted three hours and ended without any public declarations from the players - that, has been reserved for Camp Nou on Sunday when, after the meeting with Valladolid, the players will address the fans.
