Middle East
At least 13 people died, while 12 others were injured when a landmine, planted by the roadside, went off in Kandahar Province, in the south of Afghanistan.
The mine went off when a bus was passing it earlier today.
Some of the victims are specifically four women and three children.
The law enforcement agencies have accused the Taliban radical movement of organizing the terrorist attack.
Yet another blast has been reported from the east of Afghanistan, where a suicide bomber blew himself up in Kapisa Province.
The blast took the life of a 14-year old Afghan boy.
Three other people are said to have been wounded, including two US soldiers.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
