A Mercedes car crashed the road barriers in Gegharkunik region. The driver died on the spot.

On January 22 fatal car accident occurred in Armenia`s Gegharkunik region, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com.

At about 19:40pm Mercedes 190 - 17 UL 227 model car`s driver Azat Avetisyan, 54, on the road sector of Sevan-Martuni-Getap highways, driving from Gavar to Yerevan, came out of the drivable zone and crashed into iron barriers of the road.

 

As a result of the crash the driver died on the spot, while passenger Gevorg Avetisyan, 24, was transferred to Sevan city hospital with body injuries. This time he is in the department of intensive care. 

A criminal case is launched against the case. Photojournalist informed that Avetisyans live in Nor Aresh district in Yerevan.
