At the sitting of the Standing Committee on health care, maternity and childhood

On May 14 at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood moderated by Ara Babloyan the draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Human Reproduction Health and Reproduction Rights” was debated.

In the key speaker Ara Babloyan’s word, the editing of the draft law is conditioned by enshrining a number of notions being used in the functioning law and by the change of the age threshold for surrogate mother.

The Committee endorsed the draft law for including it in the draft laws of the agendas of the NA third session of the fifth convocation and in the May 20-23 four-day sittings.
