"Haykakan Zhamanak": 400 more leaving the ranks of PAP?

The newspaper writes, "400 more members left "Prosperous Armenia" party ranks from PAP Ararat structure. We were informed about this by Karen Khachatryan, who also left the PAP last week and refused to head the PAP Ararat structure. The latter also resigned from the position of Ararat city deputy mayor. "As I am aware, more than 400 members have already left the party ranks. I never deal with such issues. They just come and inform me that they have also left," said Khachatryan adding that these 400 people are his adherents, his city`s residents. According to Khachatryan`s words, only those who work in Ararat cement factory [which belongs to the PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan] do not leave the party. Ararat region`s PAP structure head Tigran Stepanyan during our talk rejected the fact that 400 members had left the party. "Only 11 applications were submitted, 2 of which in November for going to different work. Other 3 are Karen Khachatryan`s friends, and the rest 9 are his relatives. We do not have more applications," Khachatryan stated."
