Armenian GM Krikor-Sevag Mekhitarian (Brazil) scored 7 points out of 11 in the American Continental Championship that was held in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He took the 13th place among 92 participants, armchess reports.

The winner of the championship with 9,5 points was GM Julio Granda Zuniga (Peru).
