Microsoft founder Bill Gates is once again the world's richest person, with a fortune valued at $72.7 billion on Bloomberg's billionaire index, Bloomberg news service reported Thursday.
It is the first time the former Microsoft chief executive has held the title since 2007.
He took the title away from Mexican telecommunications billionaire Carlos Slim.
