Meeting in the Committee

On May 17 the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan met with the participants of the Women’s Leadership School representing different state bodies and parties.

The Committee Chairman introduced the listeners the functions of the National Assembly, touched upon the peculiarities of the parliamentary diplomacy and the steps taken in that sphere. He thoroughly presented the goals and working features of the Inter-Parliamentary committees on Cooperation, the NA Delegations and Friendship Groups in the international parliamentary organizations, referred to the unique importance of the Euronest, Parliamentary Assembly of the Eastern Partnership, in the European integration, the Association Agreement with the EU, the perspective of the creation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area and multi-polar and balanced foreign policy of Armenia.

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan also answered the questions of the listeners of the Women’s Leadership School.
