Protest is held in front of building of RA Government (updated)

Protest is held in front of the building of RA Government of the Republic of Armenia. Mothers, whose sons died in Armed Forces of Armenia, dozens of citizens, as well as members of "Army in Reality" civil initiative have gathered in front of RA Government building. The participants of the action hanged black ribbons and white carnations on the trees.

A little earlier, Colonel Valery Osipian stated that the action was illegal and demanded to stop the action. The statement caused outrage of participants, bringing them up to the door of the Government building, then tey started banging on it, demanding meeting with the Prime Minister.

The head of Government's Department for consideration of applications for admission Alexander Ghazaryan approached the gathered people in front of the Government, but people requested that the Prime Minister received them. Action participants are trying to enter Government building.

Recall, that the father of the conscript, who days ago died from a bullet by his colleague in military N unit, resident of Verin Getashen village Luxe Stepanian / born in 1994 / decided, as a sign of protest over the incident, to bring the coffin with the body of his son in Yerevan and hold a protest in front of the Government building.

Recall that the incident occurred on May 15. One of the soldiers opened fire in the smoking room, and as a result conscript Luxe Stepanyan was shot to his head and died on site, the other conscript Hrachya Sargsyan was wounded in his head

The latter at 16:00 with a gunshot wound to his head was taken to Noyemberian medical centre, and then at 20:00 to the military hospital in Yerevan.
