Hayk Babukhanyan has a normal attitude toward “Putin” club.

Head of "Constitutional Right Union" (CRU) Hayk Babukhanyan stated today that he is not linked to "Putin" club and "it is probably not quite correct to say that he "supported" the idea of its establishment".
"Establishment of a club named after the head of another state is a bit strange. In the same logic, for instance, you can open "Sarkozy" club. But here an interesting platform of Putin, his recent publications and serious discussions on the idea of Eurasian Union is meant and I don't see anything bad in such a discussion club", said Hayk Babukhanyan to Mediamax.
In his turn, head of Ramkavar-Azatakan Party Harutyun Arakelyan said that he has a normal attitude toward the idea of establishing "Putin" club and he really supported it.
"The party didn't adopt a special decision on this occasion as it is a free public initiative and none of my companions and friends is against the initiative as the club will create an opportunity to get acquainted with the programs of Eurasian Union for even those who have a hostile attitude towards it. Consequently, I have a normal attitude toward the initiative. If various Western groups operate in Armenia and it was recently announced that a political club of Conrad Adenauer will open, I think the idea of "Putin" club is quite a normal one", stated Harutyun Arakelyan.
The statement disseminated today by "Youth Union of the CIS Countries" reads that " the idea of establishing "Putin" club in Armenia has recently been supported by a dozen of public figures and organizations as well as leaders of three political parties – Chairman of Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan, Chairman of "Constitutional Right Union" Hayk Babukhanyan and leader of Ramkavar-Azatakan Party Harutyun Arakelyan".
