Russian famous film director Balabanov dies at 54

According to Ekho Moskvy radio, Russian film director Alexei Balabanov has died near St Petersburg at the age of 54.
He will be remembered for his "Brat" (Brother) and "Brat-2" feature films, which tell the story of a young man drawn into the criminal underworld of post-Soviet Russia.
Balabanov made most of his 20 or so films at his STV studios, which he established in St Pete in 1992.
In the 1980s, Balabanov worked at a film factory in Sverdlovsk in the Central Urals.
