Ovation for Florentino at Valdebebas

Florentino Pérez turned up at Valdebebas to provide much needed support for the Castilla team, who would have watched the first team lose the cup final to Atlético the day before.

The public at the Di Stéfano stadium rose to their feet and gave an emotional ovation upon his arrival to the directors' box to watch the game against Lugo.

The president raised his hand in recognition of the gesture, and was visibly touched by the support from the fans.

It is also worth pointing out, however, that there was a sector of fans whistling and complaining about the high ticket prices for the cup final.
