Nigeria launches massive campaign against terrorists

In the last two days the Nigerian army liquidated 14 terrorists in the north of the country.
Three security officials also died in the fighting.
A week ago the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, declared a state of emergency in three northeastern states of the country because of the threat of attacks by the extremist group "Boko Haram."
The Authorities later announced the beginning of "massive attacks" on the terrorist camps in order "to preserve the territorial integrity of the country."
Earlier it was reported that on Saturday, security forces eliminated 10 and arrested 65 extremists.
The troops also seized a cache of weapons in the city of Maiduguri.
According to a representative of the Nigerian Army, the extremists fled to neighboring Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
