High-heeled shoes sent to Nikolas Sarkozy from Turks.
Turkey
Turkish Bartin city`s "Real Journalists Association" President Suleyman Karaman, after the adoption of the law criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial by French Senate, responded the event in a very special and individual way. Karaman found appropriate to send high-heeled shoes to France president Nikolas Sarkozy.
"Sarkozy's vote for the interests of the Turkish people about the glorious history of the lekeleyemeyeceğini," Karaman said.
''Public opinion is also a mockery of Sarkozy, due to the complex aspect of the heel of her shoe send an altitude of 7 centimeters. 15 pounds is the cost of shoes, and the shoemaker got 15 pounds more to raise the heel. We think this shoe would give points for Sarkozy during the next election. Here I urge all our people to boycott French goods. France, already owns the massacres and the support of the PKK terrorist organization, a country that was before us. This demonstrated the last event,'' Karaman said.
Karaman and journalists later delivered the shoe box to French officials, Haber Türk newspaer writes.
