Nadal: "If anybody had predicted this I would have thought they were mad"

Rafael Nadal, who beat Roger Federer to claim the Masters 1000 in Rome on Sunday, continues to achieve great results on his comeback to the courts after the knee injury that kept him out for so long. The Spanish star is quick to point out just what he has achieved, not forgetting the situation that he was in "just a few months ago".
"If anybody had predicted this I would have thought they were mad after being out for so long without competing and after two pretty tough weeks to begin with in Chile and Brazil. To be here now only a few months later, winning everything I have, is like a dream come true because I know how I was just a few months ago ", he told Spanish TV station 'TVE'.
The Mallorca-born player did not care to pick out any one recent victory as special but prefers to concentrate on the "day-to-day work."
