Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan left for Armavir Region on Wednesday to visit ant-hail station near Arshaluys village.
Premier Sargsyan was informed about villagers’ complaints concerning ineffectiveness of anti-hail stations. Several anti-hail stations did not work on the day of hail storm as they are not connected to the general network.

Premier instructed Armavir Governor to take immediate steps to transfer exploitation of anti-hail stations to the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Tigran Sargsyan held a working consultation with the heads of local villages. Premier promised to take villagers’ problems under his personal control. The residents of 46 communities affected by the hail storm will not pay land tax and will be provided with seeds, fertilizers and diesel. The loans granted to villagers will be frozen for some time, depending on each case.
New anti-hail stations will be installed in the villages and will be controlled from one center. Vulnerable families will be provided with one-time financial assistance.
