New price of gas in Armenia known

Discussions in connection with the increase in gas tariff were held in Public Services Regulatory Commission of The Republic of Armenia.

As henaran.am reports, today during a meeting with reporters the head of the Tariff Policy of RA Public Services Regulatory Commission Garegin Baghramyan said.

"Given the fact that the Armenian government subsidizes 30% of the cost of gas, and a number of other circumstances, at the moment I can reasonably say that the price of gas for 1 cu. m will be 156 AMD," he said.

Note that the current price of gas is 132 drams for 1 cubic meter.
