A protest action against increase in gas price is being held near the building of the Armenian Parliament.
The activists placed banners near the parliament entrance. Some banners say they will refuse to pay taxes if the gas price is increased.
Participants of the spontaneous action noted that representatives of several NGOs gathered near the parliament.
The action is being held simultaneously with the parliamentary discussion on gas price which is closed to public.
The problem was that a closed meeting was supposed to be in RA Parliament, which should attend Prime Minister, Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan, President of Public Services Regulatory Commission Robert Nazaryan.
It should be noted that a representative from the National Assembly approached several activists and invited to participate in the discussion, however, later it beame clear that the activists were not allowed to participate, they stayed in the room for journalists, watching from afar the discussion. According to appeals of the other activists, the activists, who entered the Parliament, again came out of it.
Note that NA MP Shushan Petrosyan also came out of the Parliament, who was greeted with activists' whistles.
