Five police officers dead in Venezuelan helicopter crash

On Thursday five Venezuelan police officers were killed when the holicopter they were flying in rashed into high-tension wires and near Caracas.
The police were in pursuit of two suspected kidnappers who had fled into the woods after a shootout with police.
The officers freed two engineers who had been kidnapped and killed a suspect, the Venezuelan Interior Ministry said.
"I feel great pain for the loss of our officers of the National Bolivarian Police as they were patrolling our safe homeland," Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro wrote on Twitter.
The accident was caused by bad weather according to the authorities.
