A big car crash in Kotayk region. Several people injured and hospitalized.

On Jan. 28 a car crash occurred in Armenia`s Kotayk region. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com, at about 08:00am on Yerevan-Sevan highway Sevan resident Merujan Stepanyan, 56, driving his Ford Transit model vehicle, crashed Alapars villager 43-year-old Anastas Petrosyan`s tractor.
As a result of the accident, Ford passengers - Sevan residents Sonik Galstyan, 44, Geghetsik Avetisyan, 34, Torgom Margaryan, 47, Evelina Grigoryan, 32, Alina Sargsyan, 48 were transferred to Hrazdan city hospital with injuries.
The photojournalist informed that the cause of the accident were icy roads. While the police officers were clarifying the circumstances of the accident other 2 accidents were registered in this area as the roads were all covered with snow and hidden ice and the road cleaning works were not carried out.
Toyota Prado and a Gazelle car crashed each other. Later another Gazelle crashed a ZIL - 04 SL 437 truck.
Fortunately, there were no victims and injured during the last two crashes.
