IM Andranik Matikozyan (Armenia) scored 7,5 points out of 10 and solely took the first prize at the 27th Metropolitan Chess Tournament that was held in Los Angeles, USA. At the same time Andranik exceeded the Grandmaster norm by half a point.

This is Matikozyan’s second GM norm, armchess reports.
