The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zivko Budimir, who was arrested on April 26 on suspicion of corruption and released on May 24, said he would be showing up Monday to perform his duties despite protests of the ruling coalition, which calls for his resignation.
He declined to comment on allegations that the case against him was politically motivated.
Budimir and four other persons are suspected of receiving or giving bribes to secure pardons for convicts which Budimir then signed. The investigation against Budimir continues.
