Ancelotti keen to enroll Crespo as his assistant

Carlo Ancelotti wants Hernan Crespo to be his second in command should he take the Real Madrid coaching post, Sky Italia reported last night.
At Real Madrid, directors would prefer to hand the assistant coach’s role to Zinedine Zidane but if the Frenchman decides to undertake duties solely as Director of Sport, which has also been proposed, he does not want to simultaneously occupy the bench with Ancelotti. The Italian coach meanwhile would rather have someone he knows and trusts as his right-hand man and has cited Hernan Crespo. The Argentinean played under the coach during their time together atParmafrom 1996-98 and again at AC Milan when he joined the Rossoneri on loan from Mourinho’sChelseain 2004-5.
Crespo retired from playing last November aged 37 and since then, he has concentrated on gaining his coaching certificate.
