Neo-Nazi group parades in center of London

On Monday the ultra-nationalist neo-Nazi racist group, the English Defense League held a demonstration in the center of London.
The racist group opposes immigration to the UK, especially from Muslim countries.

The apparent reason for the event was the death of British soldier Lee Rigby, who is suspected of being killed by two Islamic extremists.

About a thousand people gathered in Trafalgar Square. They shouted nationalist slogans and insults at Muslims. Later, they proceeded to Downing Street, where there was a counter demonstration by several hundred activists of anti-fascist groups.
The police separated the two groups who threw bottles at each other but violent clashes were avoided.
