“I’ve never had a coach like Ancelotti, not even Mourinho”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic stated his desire for his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, to continue at Paris Saint-Germain for another season and the Swedish striker placed the Italian tactician above the other two big names he has worked with: José Mourinho and Fabio Capello. “I don’t want the gaffer to go”, said Ibrahimovic after his team’s victory against Lorient.

“I think he’s done a fantastic job and he’s the right man for this project, because he’s got a great relationship with the group. I’ve worked with top coaches, but never with one who had such a good relationship with his players. That’s the key to his success. He’s elegant, even when he talks”, said the Swede.

“I’ve never had a coach like Carlo”, continued the Swedish striker. “For me it’s something new; I was used to the iron discipline I grew up with under Mourinho and Capello, but Carlo’s way is smoother, more patient. He gives the players confidence and I like that. I hope he doesn’t leave”.
