Former Turkish President’s spouse died

On Tuesday night, the ninth Turkish President Suleyman Demirel's spouse Nazmiye Demirel died, the Hürriyet newspaper reported.
Nazmiye Demirel died at the age of 86 in Ankara Hospital after long-term treatment. Upon learning of the death of his wife, former President Demirel went to the hospital.

It is reported that Nazmiye Demirel suffered from Alzheimer's disease in the last years of her life.
