Prince Charles to arrive in Armenia today

Charles, the Prince of Wales, will pay a private visit to Armenia May 28-30 at the invitation of the “Yerevan, My Love” charity foundation.

The Prince will visit Matenadaran, the ancient manuscript repository and research center, which holds 17,000 Armenian and foreign manuscripts and 30,000 other documents which cover a wide array of subjects such as historiography, geography, philosophy, grammar, art, history, medicine and science. 

The Prince will also visit Holy Echmiadzin, attend a concert at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan.
