On 27 May Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received Russian philanthropist of Armenian descent Sergey Hambardzoumyan.

Issues related to carrying out a number of projects in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the philanthropist and handed in him "Vachagan Barepasht" medal. The Head of the State expressed hope that Sergey Hambardzoumyan would keep assisting to the process of further strengthening and developing Artsakh with the same energy and dedication.
