N Korea allows southerners back in Kaesong industrial zone

North Korea has allowed South Korean businessmen and their employees to enter the jointly-run Kaesong industrial zone, media report.
The government’s statement to this effect was released Tuesday, saying workers would be let back in after South Korean businesses meet Pyongyang officials.
South Koreans were forced out in April following escalating tensions. Pyongyang also froze industrial works and pulled all staff from the site.
The Kaesong industrial park is located 12km from the North-South border and houses over a hundred of industrial enterprises that employ tens of thousands of Koreans from both sides of the border.
