Mariinsky Theatre to carry out live broadcast of 'Swan Lake'

The Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg will carry out a live broadcast of Tchaikovsky’s ballet Swan Lake in 3D.
The press service of the Mariinsky Theatre said Wednesday that on June 6th the famous ballet will be shown in more than 1,000 cinemas in 50 countries, IF reports.
To ensure a 3D effect, 4 out of 8 cameras will show the ballet dancers close up. The orchestra will be led by Maestro Valery Gergiyev.
