Australian PM dodges another sandwich: this time it’s salami (video)

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has successfully dodged another sandwich during her visit of a Canberra school, local media report.
The prime minister was meeting children at Lyneham High School in Canberra when a salami sandwich was thrown at her and narrowly missed the head of the Australian government.
She looked completely unfazed by the sandwich attack and commented afterwards: “They must have thought I was hungry.”
This is the second time Gillard is forced to dodge a sandwich. In a similar attack earlier this month, another student hurled a sandwich with yeast-based lunch spread at the prime minister during another school trip. The attacker was kicked out of school, despite refusing to own up to his crime.
Australian Capital Territory Chief Minister Katy Gallagher, who was accompanying Gillard, laughed it off, saying: "Schools are full of kids, kids occasionally do silly things."
