George Michael was discharged from a London hospital nearly two weeks after he was hurt in a car wreck, the British pop star's website said.
Michael, 49, was a passenger in a Range Rover involved in a single-vehicle accident in Hertfordshire May 16. He was airlifted to a specialist trauma center in London and treated for head and face injuries.
Details regarding the identity of the driver, likely cause of the collision and what the vehicle hit hadn't been released.
"We can confirm that George Michael has been discharged from hospital and continues to rest and recuperate. He is well and thanks everyone for all the messages of support," a message posted on his website Tuesday said.
