Bringing in a mental hospital because of the protest against self-will of "Ideal" shop owners has political reasons
Society
The other day the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" published an article, according to which "70-year-old resident of the 115 home on the street of Komitas 56, Yerevan Amalia Nazaretyan with force was taken to a psychiatric hospital in Avan community.
The fact is that Nazaretyan's apartment is on the second, and on the first floor is "Ideal" shop. According to neighbors, the shopkeepers decided to renovate the first and second floors. Amalia Nazaretyan was against it. Quite a long time, the relationship of the citizen with the employees of the shop were tense, as Nazaretyan periodically called Police. And one day, local police with the paper in his hand approached the neighbour and urged her to sign a text, according to which Amalia Nazaretyan had mental problems. The neighbor refused to sign, because the woman had no mental problems. According to her, none of the neighbors signed the paper.
And after a few days they saw that a car stopped in the yard, arguing voices were heard, Amalia Nazaretyan asked the adjacent neighbor to say that she was not insane, then they forced her to sit a car and drove away. Later, the neighbors found out that she was taken to a psychiatric hospital."
Today the edition of Lurer.com received a letter from 56 house on Komitas street, which states:
"The residents of 56 house on tKomitas street condemn the shameful reality and taking Amalyan Nazaryan to a psychiatric hospital. We know Amalia Nazaretyan for a long time, she is completely normal, adequate and intelligent person, she has long taught at the College after Ostrovsky, and delivering her to a mental hospital because of the protest against self-will of "Ideal" shop-keepers is political.
It is a pity that for the solutions of some issues methods that are characteristic of the "best" of the Soviet years are still using in our country. We demand Amalia Nazaretyan's discharge from the mental hospital, and call on journalists and law enforcement officials to demand a meeting with Ms. Nazaretyan to verify the veracity of our claim."
