UK museum staff on strike over pay, pensions
Աշխարհ
Museum employees across the UK are holding a 24-hour strike as part of a long-running strike action over jobs, pay, pensions and working conditions.
The country’s main museums, including the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and Imperial War Museum in London, and Tate galleries in the capital and Liverpool, are closed to visitors.
Maintenance personnel that look after historical buildings and archaeological monuments, including the famous Stonehenge, will join the industrial action on Sunday.
The current protest action began on March 20th and will last three months.
